Boundary layer flow of nanofluid over an exponentially stretching surface

The steady boundary layer flow of nanofluid over an exponential stretching surface is investigated analytically. The transport equations include the effects of Brownian motion parameter and thermophoresis parameter. The highly nonlinear coupled partial differential equations are simplified with the help of suitable similarity transformations. The reduced equations are then solved analytically w...

DTM- Padé Modeling of Natural Convective Boundary Layer Flow of a Nanofluid Past a Vertical Surface

In this paper, we study theoretically the natural convective boundary-layer flow of a nanofluid past a vertical plate. The model used for the nanofluid incorporates the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis. A similarity solution is developed. The similarity transformations are applied to reduce the governing partial differential equations to a set of nonlinear coupled ordinary differen...

Boundary layer flow past a stretching/shrinking surface beneath an external uniform shear flow with a convective surface boundary condition in a nanofluid

The problem of a steady boundary layer shear flow over a stretching/shrinking sheet in a nanofluid is studied numerically. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations using a similarity transformation, before being solved numerically by a Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method with shooting technique. Two types of nanofluids, namely, Cu-water and Ag-wa...

MHD ‎r‎otating heat and mass transfer free convective flow past an exponentially accelerated isothermal plate with fluctuating mass ‎diffusion

In this paper, we have considered the problem of rotating, magnetohydrodynamic heat and mass transfer by free convective flow past an exponentially accelerated isothermal vertical plate in the presence of variable mass diffusion. While the temperature of the plate is constant, the concentration at the plate is considered to be a linear function with respect to time t. The plate is assumed to be...

Entropy Analysis on Electro-Kinetically Modulated Peristaltic Propulsion of Magnetized Nanofluid Flow through a Microchannel

A theoretical and a mathematical model is presented to determine the entropy generation on electro-kinetically modulated peristaltic propulsion on the magnetized nanofluid flow through a microchannel with joule heating. The mathematical modeling is based on the energy, momentum, continuity, and entropy equation in the Cartesian coordinate system. The effects of viscous dissipation, heat absorpt...
